what is wrong if the security light and the air bag light is on?

It needs to be scanned for codes. The security system and air bag will not work while the lights are on.

If your air bag light stays on you should see a dealer asap.If the air bag is malfunctioning it could deploy while you are driving.

there is a sensor under the steering wheel called a clock sensor that will go bad and cause this problem

i also have the same problem, sometimes the airbag says is off and the light remains on.
