k im graduating grade 8 this year, i think that i might wear a black halter dress. can i wear flats with it? and what should i do to my hair? i think that i might just curl it and leave it down. and put simple makeup on. is that okay? and what should it cost me?

Well, i graduated last year, and here in CA, lots of people wore more casual summery dresses, but lots of people wore black too. If you want to buy a new one, anthropologie, betsie johnson, jcrew, and jessica mclintock have some adorable dresses. I would wear flats, so you can dance easily, and curl it, leave it down, and wear mascara, lipgloss, eyeshadow, and thats it. Do it yourself, or else you'll look like you're trying to hard. Have fun!

i think black dress good idea with flats(matalic) but not halter.. your going to have all the parents there and you dont want to say the wrong thing with you out fit..try a croped sleve or something with 1 to 2 inch straps..and i think you would look really cute with some mitalic long wrap necklaces(dont over do it though)and with all that your probably look arout 60-80 bucks..usd and id wear my hair up in a messy bun.
