My husband says if water was turned into wine, why aren't we drunk on water?

that is cute

but...
water does not equal wine... and only SOME water was turned into wine.

it has also been debated as to whether this wine was actually fermented and therefore capable of making someone drunk. it may have been like sparkling cider, but got lost in translation...

they mix water with the wine at church. Before it becomes wine it is just water. Water does not make you drunk. After it becomes wine, wine could make you drunk

Tell your husband that I am sorry but the water into wine trick was a one-time deal. For further information call in next Sunday at your local church.

The act of turning the water into wine added alcohol to where there was no alcohol, if you believe such things.

It was Alcohol free wine (bad tasting water same thing)

Not all water was turned to wine just the stuff that jesus made back then

This is one of Jesus's miracles that he performed. It is similar with the story of Jesus feeding five thousand men out of only 2 fish and five barley loaves...
Untill Jesus walks the earth again, only he has the powers to create miracles like turning water into wine. He only performed this miracle for a one time wedding.(John 2:1-11)

Give me water, grapes and sugar and i'll turn it into wine too. They forgot to tell you the pary where he disappeared to the cellar for a few minutes (fermented it for three months-ni)...convenient that ay!

Maybe we are all drunk and we just think we're sober lol! I guess that's why it's called Adam's Ale and nature's wine :)

That is because to turn water into wine - you have to add the grapes and forment it... The Bible story is a myth.
