how do u prep the ground to grow centipede grass?

What part of the U.S. do you live in? It's tough to grow it over clay soil. Till up the soil as best as you can. Mix in manure or spread 1 bag of milorganite 6-2-0 fert per 5000 sq ft into the prepped soil. Lay your sod & soak it every day for a week. Once it catches go back to watering your lawn 2 times a week. Don't spray any weed control on new sod either.

first thing...have ur soil tested for ph......u cant over lime so add lime to the soil and work it in

you could mix it with the right amount of gypsum, and plenty of manure.
