I lay laminate floors fairly regularly and there are several ways to cover up/hide scratch marks depending how deep the scratch is.
The simplest and easiest thing to do ( you mention oak...is it light, medium or dark?) if its light/medium, use a light tan shoe polish put on with a rag. If its dark use normal brown or dark tan depending on shade. Rule of thumb is to use the lighter first and then darken if need be. You cannot lighten dark.

not really - that's the problem with laminate, it does scracth and you can't sand it like wood. Phone the fitter, see if he has any more advice. I guess someone might be able to polish it out a bit for you if you have insurance you could try to claim. I have laminate too, and when I can afford it I'll change it for Karndean, it is harder and better

I believe there is a paint or dye you can touch it up with but the easiest way would be to cover it up with a rug or something.
Incidently I did one of our bedroom floors last year and it looks so good I don't let anyone in there in case they scratch it!

Get some floor wax (oak colour) and keep rubbing it gently into the scratches until they disappear. Be careful not to walk on it for a bit it might be slippery.

Along with stone, mud and animal parts, wood was one of the first materials worked by early humans. Microwear analysis of the Mousterian stone tools used by the Neanderthals show that many were used to work wood. The development of civilization was closely tied to the development of increasingly greater degrees of skill in working these materials.

Cover the whole thing with a carpet. Laminate floor is Naff and on the way out, its a passing fad that will be embarrassing in the future like 70's wall paper and polystyrene ceiling tiles.

you can get a tube of colour match from your local floor stockist which will blend in most scratches and scuffs
