the sex talk? a.k.a the birds and the bees? girls get their menstrual cycle/period when they hit puberty, this means that the body is physically capable of bearing a child (not neccessarily mentally or emotionally), if a girl has sex in between periods it is possible to become pregnant. pads and tampons are used for periods, suggest starting on pads and working your way to tampons when you feel comfortable. sex- the male inserts his penis into the vagina, you can get pregnant even if he pulls out... don't have sex unless you feel absolutely 100% comfortable with it and always use a condom.. any other questions feel free to email me or ask a trusted adult. :)

There are many excellent books on the female reproductive system. I highly recommend Taking Charge of Your Fertility b/c it has very clear information on how the reproductive system works and invaluable info on fertility which every woman should know.

If your referring to the talk about sex. I would go ask mom. I talked with my mom about it when I was 15. I told her I was thinking about it and the next monday, I was on birth control. Needless to say, I didn't have sex but, she still wanted me to go on it. So, go talk with her. Don't talk to your friends about. Go to your mom.. and if you can't go to her then a possible aunt that you might be close too.. keep it in the family. Good luck to you.

Well, then, it's something you don't need to know about.
I'm sorry, but I have to be blunt here. Why are people in such a hurry to grow up?
If you want 'The Talk' then go and ask your mom to give you 'The Talk'.

how old are u?? ask ur mom, that is always the best resource, but if you are too young , then maybe u should wait a while to have "THE TALK" lol

If your mom doesn't want to TALK to you about that ,
it is because you are probably too young to have
such a conversation !

Be patient , those things always happen too soon ! ! !

moms, aunts or older sisters are always your best bet. trust me they won't be upset. just explain that you've been hearing things and you want to know from someone you trust.
