I am trying to find out the name and title of a song. It is an 80's rock song, very high energy. The lead singer is a male voice.
There back up singers and I believe they are constantly repeating "...run, run, away!!"
Does anyone know what the name and artist are???

Slade they were an 80s L.A. group and only had one other hit to my knowledge that song was My Oh My and the song you are looking for is Run Runaway!I like black and white (dreaming of black and white)

Slade-Run, Runaway the song is from the album Take your Hands of My Power Supply.
Slade is British glam rock band who had 2 hits in the US in the 80's Run, Runaway and a ballad called My Oh My.
Slade also did the original version Mama Weer all Crazy Now and *** On Feel The Noize. 80's metal band Quiet Riot made these songs popular.

Jefferson Airplane or Starship (one of the incarnations) had a song called Run, Run Away. It had female background lyrics (Grace Slick) singing that. Marty Balin was the lead singer.

I believe the group you are looking for is SLADE "Run,Run Away" from the 1970's. They were a British Hard/Glam rock band.
The newer version of it was done by a Canadian group Great Big Sea.
