Yes, wouldn't it be a perfect world if we could all behave accordingly. However, Bush isn't exactly practicing his doctorine either. Because of his ignorance many innocent lives on both sides are being taken without just cause. Religion, wars, leaders, etc... are all ugly. Unfortunately, the leaders of countries will take the brunt of the ugliness. Think about this a moment, what if your child was sent off to a war and never came home? Later to find out that the war was a mistake. Ask those families how they feel.

I don't hate Bush, I just hate what he's done, there's a difference. We are told to hate the sin but to love the sinner. As far as I can tell this war is one big screwup, this war was a war launched on lies now what does that tell you. The President is the representative of the people. So the fact that he launched the war on account of the United States, based on arrogance makes every american look bad. Because of this most people around the world dislike americans. By me and others speaking out, they know that not every american was hoodwinked by the prez. Again I don't hate the prez, I just hate what he's done, blessings.

Personally, I don't hate Bush. I hate what the neo-cons in general have done to this country, but that's different.

I honestly have some pity for him. I think he's probably a good person deep down, trapped by this cycle as much as we all are.

We'll put it this way... if he turned around and admitted his faults tomorrow, and put everything on the table and opened things up to debate, and admitted the mistakes he's made (we've all made mistakes... ) then I think a lot of people would stop hating him overnight.

Never underestimate the capacity for people to forgive. But, as it stands, he has to be responsible for his decisions.

The buck does stop there, after all, right?

Having said that, I still pity him and the position he's in as a person.

I think it was your choice to use the word hate which is typical of religious hate mongers. I don't hate Bush though I do think he is dangerously incompetent. People who spell 'you' as "yoo" and leave us to assume that "hae" represents 'hate' should concentrate more on their own education instead of "throwing stones".

Me, too! However, I have decided that hating him is their problem. The man has done nothing to warrant such vitriolic attacks and, quite frankly, I feel sorry for the haters.
