Hiya,i am a sales rep for a blue chip motor industry company,i feel i am being intimadated by a customer,who goes out of his way to make my working lfe verydifficult.without naming or criticising he seems to relish in reporting minor points to my manager.
Today i emaild my manager with my responce to his claims,ittook me 2 days to backtrack my whearabouts and create a responce.I feel my manager is taking sides with the customer without listining to all sides.i have workd for this company for 5 years,and i have stated my defence i believe very well with times and dates etc.
Employment law would be helpfull.thanks for reading this email

If your question and explanation are indicative of what you sent to your boss, that might be part of your problem. Clean up your act. Then ask to meet with your boss and discuss it in person.
Why do you have so much contact with one customer? It does not seem right, unless you gave this person a reason to get you.
Does your company have an HR director? If so, contact him/her and explain the matter. If that does not help, call the EEOC in your state and complain. Even if your boss is not at fault, you can get the story out in the open

to be honest would start looking for another job. Talk to you manager and get the legal advice ( you can always go to Citizens Advice - they are in the book) but if your manager is not supporting you now, you're unlikely to win

Can you not ask to be taken off the account?
If you feel that they are trying to push you out then it is constructive dismissal.
