if only earth revolves at a full circle then it would be much easier, but I'm not sure about the circumference formula for the ellipse, if it was a circle I would say 1AUpi, with AU being astronomical unit which is the distance earth is from the sun

Diameter of the orbit (radius x 2) times pie (3.14) So find the diameter and multiply it by 3.14 or multiply the radius by 2 and multiply that by 3.14
