Does anyone really believe that Iran will attempt to wipe Israel off the map?

Or is it just a convenient excuse to attack, kill, maim and torture, and of course further enrich the Military Industrial Complex .

Well yes,there are so many people who actually believe it...They do believe that Ahmadinejad will launch a nuclear attack in order to "wipe Israel off the map"...
But this is just another way to prepare an attack over Iran.First make Ahmadinejad look like an evil man...who would do anything to destroy "poor little innocent" Israel...which of course makes Israel look like the victim,again...So US must protect Israel somehow,and what better way to do it then attack Iran?And by chance Iran too has oil...How convenient...

Psychology 101. People seldom do things without talking about it first. Suicide, the Columbine attacks, etc.

Iran is talking about wiping Israel off the face of the Earth. Iran has far more gas centrifuges than are necessary for peaceful use of nuclear power. Worst case projections is Iran will have a working nuclear device by 2009. All they have to do is take out Tel Aviv and they got most of the Jews of Israel. And to accomplish that, they would be willing to destroy the Holy Land, because it is not about land, it is about Jihad and the wiping out of non-believers.

Are you group A or group B?

Group A wants to cut and run in Iraq and ignore what is going on in Iran until a nuke actually goes off in Israel OR New York City. Then they can act outraged, make speeches and send Neville Chamberlain and Jimmy Carter to get peace in our time.

Group B wants to say in Iraq, clean up the mess and also deal with Iran before it gets a nuke. Like Winston Churchill wanted to do when Germany invaded Chekoslovokia.

Preface: I hope with all my being that this prediction is incorrect..


I predict that Ahmadinejad will continue working toward his goal of nuclear armament against advice of his own countrymen and all regulatory body's insistence that he give up those ambitions. I further predict that he will use any weapons he may acquire to attempt at leveraging Israel to succumb to Palestinian and Muslim demands. Israel against all recommendations will use tactical nuclear weapons in response and President Bush will be blamed for causing these occurrences by not doing enough in response to the Iranian threat by the same liberals who are crying foul to his current efforts.
There is much more but I'll refrain from the details of the upcoming world war and let YOUR imagination run the scenario.

The Iranian Prime Minister hates Israel. I do not put it pass him. Also, Saudi Arabia and Iran hates Israel to the max. Iran and Saudi Arabia will us terrorism against Israel.

The use of nuclear weapons are to use against the USA and the UK because we are infidels.

Then the Saudis and Iranians will fight each other because different version of Islam.

Do you think we should all just sit back and find out? I'm sure if we did nothing, and Iran wipes out Isreal, your next question would be....WHY did we just sit by and let that happen when we had the power to put an end to it. Because it seems to me, you are going to take the opposing view, no matter what.

If you are in the US, my question to you would be....why don't you take a sabbatical, head over to Isreal, and sit it out. That way, you will be the first to know if Iran truly meant what they said.

I believe that Iran has every intention of doing whatever it can to disassemble and destroy the nation of Israel. It already supplies arms toward this goal. Unfortunately, attacking Iran will not solve this problem. There are plenty of other countries who would be very pleased to see Israel destroyed as well.

I assume your question was tongue in cheek and you actually know that Iran, or any of the other Arab nations, would immediately try to do just that if they thought they could.

P.S. I do not know what Stephanie is trying to say. I have looked at some of those "foreign news sources." I thought the ones in the West were biased until I read some of those. To them, black is white, up is down, and nothing that is said is true. The ones that I looked at were 100% propaganda. I know there are good and bad ones, I looked at Arab ones and saw nothing but lies and pure unadulterated hatred.

I think when Iran says "wipe Israel off the map" they are not speaking in terms of nuclear destruction. They would not damage the holy land that is so near and dear to their hearts. Just as the Zionists wanted Palestine to cease to exist, Iran wants Israel to cease to exist.

The president of Iran said it. He would not say that unless he admires Kerry's style of "botched jokes" Furthermore their pursuit of nukes is proof that the former hostage taker, Ahmadinejad will use them for his purpose. There is more than enough proof.

No. The president has little authority in Iran. Theocracy is the base of their government. Bush is empowering Iran Pres by threatening their sovereignty.

Also, no middle east wanna be has the military might of the Nazi party. So comparing every bad person to Hitler is a misnomer.
