I watch it!
He didn't leave.
He'd been on the show since the first episode and the writers told him that they'd written everything they could for JT, but the journey was over. Sad. I cried :(
Ps.
If you watched the last episode he was on, they had a special thing on there at the end and it did say that the writers had done all they could for JT. there was nothing else interesting for his character. He'd been there since day 1, so yeah, i'd assume they'd run out of ideas.

i heard he was offered to go on some other show.
here they are saying that the producers just killed off his character.
