what if you just want your freedom back, do you have to take the 50% finances ur entitled to? or can you just tell the judge I want no cash....well maybe not 50%, just some money to get by on.
also a car was "gifted to me" but it isn't in my name.

You may or may not be entitled to 50% or any other set amount in divorce depending on your state's laws. If you & your future ex are in agreement on property division that is usually stipulated in the divorce filing.
You could legally "date", but be very careful , depending on your relationship w the almost ex it could cause some problems even w no sex. Legally you are still married , & adultery could be alleged.
