I asked this question but in the wrong area. I took the reserve police interview and wonder if I am selected how long will it take before they call me? and will they let me know one way or the other?

Generally a state job such as a reserve police officer takes longer than a regular job. The reason is that they do an extensive background check.

Do you know someone working for the reserve police? I would attempt to contact that person and see where you are. I would say if they do not contact you within 2 months of applying you are probably not going to get hired.

Good luck

From my appearance with interviews for a while now, if it's anything like most...even if they say they will call most businesses have a bad habit of never contacting people if they didn't pick you...

Best thing you can do is just keep checking on it...

If I had not heard from them in a couple of weeks I would check back in with them.
