guinea pigs like to go in one spot, usually it's a corner. Move the litter box to the corner that they use, then it is easy for you to clean daily.

Not all guinea pig cages have those little corner litter boxes but some do! Some guinea pigs can be trained to go pee in a corner! Not all piggies catch on to this but some do! I don't have a litter box in my guinea pig's cage but he just figured out on his own to go in a corner (he sleeps in another corner and his food is in another).

Don't try to train your piggie to poop in the corner. They tend to poop everywhere - and I'm not even sure if they realize that they're pooping!

Not to state the obvious but, corner litter boxes are to be used in a corner. Corner of cage or pen etc. Mostly for space saving. They can be used for ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas and hamsters. They come in different sizes. Depending on the size of animal you have. They can also be attached to a cage so your animal can't move it around. (dump it over). You do just set them on the ground. I wouldn't suggest putting it "up" anywhere. You don't want your animal falling out of it. If you have a rabbit they could fall and break their back (even a few inch fall). Good luck.

You could buy i really small one at petsmart for about $ 14.99, But they also sell bigger *not to big* cat litter boxes, that often come with a scooper. Just put your normal bedding in, i suggest Care Fresh bedding. I put in my hay rack, so all the hay that falls out goes in the box. And maybe put a water bottle in so if it drips it will absorb into the bedding. Potty training your guinea pig is not the easiest thing. I would put the box in a corner she poops the most. and block off the other corners ep. Toys, food trays, hidey houses etc. Then when ever she starts to poop, *they will squat* Relocate her to the box. Put a few treats in there so going in the box means you get a treat. And a treat is good! :) They may not use it, but dont expect they will! GoOd LuCk!

those are used for guinea pigs to go in so that they can just dump it out and so they can clean the cage less often because it isn't dirty. if you see a cage without a litter box, the guinea pigs goes on the floor but it takes much more work to clean the cage and you have to clean it more often.

I believe that rabbits are the only small animals you can train to use a litterbox. (Guinea pigs and hamsters go everywhere. Not sure about ferrets or chinchillas.) Both of our rabbits have their own corner litterbox.

My sister-in-law has 2 guinea pigs and they just use their cages as their bathrooms.

becaus eit easier to just empty out the litter box and then change the shavings every six days in stead of every three days but you have to trian them like how you train a rabbit or acat to use the litterbox hope this helps
