If your engine has a timing belt it is not inside the engine,but under a cover that makes it appear that way.Timing belts need to be replaced every 50,000 miles.If the belt breaks it can leave the vaules down and the pistop can hit them.This can destroy the engine or at the least cost several hundred dollars to fix.

Yes you probably should. In the owner's manuel there is a chart that shows you what inspections and replacements you need to do at so many miles. You might look into reading that guide.

I would replace it. It isbetter to be safe then sorry. When I buy vehicles I replace the serpentine belt asap....

Yes depending on what type of vehicle they are normally replaced between 80,000 and 100,000. Your vehicle seems to be long overdue

if its a BELT than yes
but if its a CHAIN then not too big a deal
check amount of play
