i tried to delete them (the usual right click delete thing). i also tried going to organize favorites but they arent on the list... if you know how to delete them, please tell me

the links were to stuff like "shopping gifts" and "pharmacy"

Some bookmarks just reappear after you delete them. Those are the default bookmarks for internet explorer. If you are talking about random porn bookmarks or something similar, I'd suggest running your virus and spyware software because it was most likely placed there by harmful software (I'd suggest doing this in any case, as many random anomalies on computers are caused by viruses/etc). What exactly are the type of links that appeared?

Hi. Download and run these programs: AdAware SE, Spybot, ewido, first. You may have picked up some malware. You may need a registry cleaner as well, but most are not free. www.pcpitstop.com will test your computer for free.
