I'm not a poser!! I skate pretty well, and am learning(slowly) to ollie. Then nollie, shove-it, kickflip, etc. I'm getting a board and shoes for my b-day. I'm looking at Plan B for the board. Is that a good choice? And what shoes should I get? Because vans are fashion shoes, basically. Help!!

Never skated a Plan B. I like Powell boards, Black Label, Alien Workshop... Shoes, I like DC or Osiris. My favorite clothing brand is Volcom though, I just like their style. Skating is all about original style though, so don't try to "dress like a skater." Just dress comfortably and how you think looks good.

I think that vans are not just fashon shoes but very good skate shoes. The bottoms of them are flat so its easy to stand on and the thin material on top make it so your feet dont get real sweaty when you skate. (I am talking about the vans with out laces). Another brand I prefer is DC because the toe of the shoes is really thick. If you ever wipe out, it may come in handy! ^_^

Emerica's are good skating shoes. For the board, Jerics Skateshop has there brand of boards. There like 40 bucks. not bad. For the clothes, tight jeans, lots of skate pants out there, try Zumies, and you favored skate brands for the shirts. Thats about it. Get creative with shoes and hair and braclets(not to loose) and like belts and hats. Really its what you want to make of it. Create your own style you know?

IM NOT A POSER!!
if your not a poser than why are you asking other people who may not even skate what to wear, and ****?

if you were a real skater just go to the skatepark and see what all there wearing, duh.

liek i mean you should know, and you should dress like a 'skater' only cause you want to, not cause you wanna fit into some lame *** sterotype

im so sick of teenagers!
and i am one!

You dont need to dress like a skater to be a skater. Just dress the way you want to dress, dont dress a way becuase "thats what that group does", that is just stupid.
