To me the short lived TV series “Smith” starring Ray Liotta as the mastermind of a criminal outfit, that lives a normal life during the daytime, was one show that did not get the credit it deserved. It was far more original than most TV shows because it showed things from the vantage point of the criminal, giving almost an antihero spin on the clichéd cop drama.
Its unfortunate that such an original show, with stellar writing, and a seasoned caste was cancelled to make room for vapid reality shows, and prime time soap operas bereft of substance. I tell you the more I watch network TV, and the good programs they let fall by the wayside, the more I want to turn the television off.

The Addams Family 1964-1966
The Addams were cut way too short before there time, only 2 seasons and 64 episodes was not enough for this classic tv family, this show could of lasted at least 7 seasons, this show, just like The Munsters was canceled before there time, because of ratings, too bad ABC, and CBS didn't renew them for a few more seaons, because since they both ended in 1966, both shows are now cult phenonma's.

Firefly!!! As soon as I saw this question, that was the first show that came into my head. If they had given this a chance, it would have been a HUGE hit. The series DVD sales were good. I loved the movie. Now we won't get to see it anymore. Nathan Fillion has a new show coming out. I can't remember the name of it right now, but it's about a secret cross country car race. I am going to watch it. I miss Mal!!!

Day Break with Taye Diggs. It was just getting exciting then they axed it claiming low viewership. It was a shootem up adventure type Cops & bad guys show. They should at least finish the first series of a show even if they don't intend to renew it next season & not cut off in mid-season.

I totally agree with you on Firefly, although i did love the movie.
I'd also have to say Tru Calling and the NBC show Surface, which only lasted one season.

the interior, a former FOX practice that aired in 2004. It had Rachel Nichols ("Alias" and "Dumb & Dumberer") and Peter Coyote. they in uncomplicated words aired 8 episodes (out of 13) interior the united statesA. yet interior the U.ok. they aired all the 13 sequence episodes. What makes me ask your self about this modification into that they paired it antagonistic to more effective primary shows so it not in any respect truly had a danger; and besides the actual shown reality that the rankings were increasing because the sequence went on they nevertheless did not keep it. It change into likely between the shows with sturdy ability yet no one gave it a danger.

Hands down, "Reba". It is the "I Love Lucy" of the 21st century. In its last season, the youngest daughter Kyra turned 18, and was finally getting to spread her goth wings, Cheyenne and Van moved out of Reba's house and are expecting their 2nd child, Jake is 12 and just now getting his adult-voice, Brock is possibly getting a divorce, and best of all, Reba and Barbara Jean are a genius comic team. Lucy and Ethel!!! There's just too many good stories left to tell, but the stupid new CW network cancelled the show mid-season.

"Small Wonder" with the robot kid......just kidding.
"Cheers" it was still funny an could have still kept going. So could have "Mary Tyler Moore" and "Laugh In"
I know, I'm showing my age, but most of the stuff within the last 20 years or so pretty much sucked.
