READ: i want to start my own game company in the future. me being the owner/lead game designer. i have a variety of basic background in everything technology-related. but, not as far as getting a game company together, what it consists of, et cetera, et cetera. so i need some websites to help me out; good, reputable ones with lots of info.i have a great idea for a game and my company will probaly start out in and work mostly with PC games. so...thanks.

Go to Microsoft.com they have something like that there.I know you can be a game tester and give advice and stuff.Hope it works out for you.GOOD LUCK!!!
