A friend of mine was on the show; before they go on, some BBC bod tells them that what Anne says is all for the camera and not to get upset by it; it's an expected part of the show.
Still think it's wrong when she takes the p**s out of people who can't pronounce the letter r or are fat. Fair game if you're wearing a nasty blouse, you can always take that off, but personal remarks are too much aren't they?

Don't you think that by agreeing to go on the show they give their consent to be abused and belittled by this appalling woman? It's sad what some people will do for their 15 minutes of fame.

i would love to go on the show, just for the cash thoug, i would just stare blankly if she even tried to insult me, she has no right to do that to anyone and someone out there will teach her a lesson one day and she will get a shock!

i hate her on that show. it used to be funny when she would take the piss out of people but shes too harsh now. she called a bloke sad for living with him mum when he was caring for her because she was disabled.

did you see it when it was a celebrity chef special? anthony worrell thompson was amazing. every time she spoke to him he just leant on his podium, acted all dreamy eyed and said 'my god you're gorgeous' she blushed!
