Recycled aluminum cans (which are 95+% pure Al) go for 25 to 30 cents per pound.

Go to the store and price aluminum foil, then weigh it ('cause it sells by the length, not the weight). That'll give you a good answer. Just figure that if you buy LARGE quantities of it, the price will be much lower per pound, than cans or foil.
