I need a craft that will take about a few hours to complete and will not be a craft that all look the same, but a craft that will turn out unique for each kid, any ideas?

I like to make kites.
There are a half-dozen ways for kids to make them, and an infinite amount of ways they can be decorated with marking pens.

A woman named Margaret Greger wrote several books on making kites; one of them is called "Kites for Everyone." These are THE BEST books about making kites. (I am not kidding -- I have read a score of books about kites).

A Shadow drawing of child's profile. A key dish, paper weight, candy bowl - ceramic - using child's hand as the bowl. No doubt a arts and crafts store will have a hundred ideas.

painting & decorating things like birdhouses, vases, etc. Give them paints, glitter, magazines to cut for collages, stickers, whatever will stick! The starting product may be the same but each one will turn out unique to their personality

Sock-Puppets are fun & easy to make ,,along with making up stories to go along with them,, have the kids use color markers to draw faces on their old holy socks , then have fun chatting with their new friends, you can use paper plates to make clothes for their sock friends , LOTS OF FUN
