no, if you've never done it, it will suprise you how calm and peaceful the whole experience is. you have to remember, people have been doing this by the thousands for many years. as with any sport, the technology has advanced over time through experience. it is actually quite safe. you have a reserve chute that is inspected and repacked by a certified rigger, at regular intervals. if you've never been you really should, it's a life changing experience.

If I jumped out of a plane, I don't think wetting them would be the worst of the problem.

No... but my friend pooped her pants. I think peeing your pants wouldn't be so bad! I would also imagine it would dry up by the time you would land... that would be if you peed just after jumping out of course :)
