Gigantic hairballs, maybe?? :)

I've heard that they are supposed to give off a really foul odor and leave very large footprints.

They seem to be good at staying out of our way, usually, and are camera-shy.

Supossedly, a "bigfoot" howl is high pitched and long, almost sounding like a girl terrified for her life. "Bigfeet" also stink, giving it the name "Skunk Ape" in Florida. either because it has sweat glandsand doesn't bathe, or it has marker glands. Other animals do, why not it too.

Maybe set up a game camera? You know the ones you hang on trees and leave out to monitor game trails.

well you set a big foot trap of course..Put some cheese under a giant net and when he goes to get it, drop the net. ..Then you can take him home and put him in a big cage with a water bottle and an exercise wheel.
