not always, 1985-1997 the NFC won 13 straight superbowls

out of the last 10 the AFC won 8. there are dominances that fluctuates back and forth alot.

my opinion is that certain conferences gets better draft picks because they suck more
(this year 9 out of the first 15 nfl draft picks are NFC teams)
(1990's and early 2000's, during the NFC dominance, that is where Manning, Tomlinson, Brady, Palmer, were drafted)
after a while the NFC will get better draft picks and few years the NFC might start to dominate again

Right now, the Afc teams are much better than the Nfc teams. It goes in cycles. In 10 years, the Nfc might dominate

looks pretty good but I'll put some of my thoughts. North-good, East-perfect THOUGHT:West-You really never know who will win that division.sure the Chargers have Merriman back, so they cant really get any worse, but it's just that whole division that is a mess.I'm not saying the Raiders will win it, just saying that you never know.if i had to choose one for the west, then yes it would be the Chargers. THOUGHT:South-i heard Jones-Drew talking about the team, and he said he has never been on a team so mixed up in his life.i would not count on them getting very far. Ravens will blow out the competition. THOUGHT:I think the match-up will be between the Colts and Texans, actually.people are always saying that the Titans had the easiest schedule, but it is pretty true i think.their REALLY good, i know but i think the Colts will go back to their prime days, and the Texans will have an amazing break-out year. then for the NFC i would say the Packers still being a mess, just because their QB isn't the only problem, and i really don't know about the Cowboys.but i hope they do good.

The AFC is a harder division so getting to the Super Bowl is harder for an AFC team. The NFC is an easier division, therefore the AFC teams have more of a challenge and harder opponnets during the regular season making it easier to win over an NFC team.

they just happen to have all the dominant players, and all the best coaches/coordinators at the moment. eventually the tides will turn and the NFC will be the dominant one again (like they were in the early 90s). It will probably come down to when guys like Brady, Manning, and LT retire --and by then young guys in the NFC will be at their primes, or NFC teams will have found their Bradies, Mannings, and LTs.

It is all about who wants it more in the Superbowl. In the Superbowl it sometimes doesn't have to do with talent at all but who wants it more. And the Colts wanted it more.
