It's me again....Ok I've decided to get 2 baby poms, Now I want to choose what gender would be better. It would be nice to have 2 girls because of the fact that GIRLS RULE lol, but someone also posted that the Girls are easier to train, is that true? And another person also stated that it would be better for a BOy/Girl to be purchased so it won't be territory battles. So can you help me decide? What are the pros and cons of having: BOY/BOY, BOY/GIRL & GIRL/GIRL, and no I don't plan to breed them.

sakura: I didn't get them yet, but mostly like I would be purchasing them from a breeder that deals with only Pomeranians, I'm still browsing breeders though..

As long as they are raised together, any of the gender situations will work. I have a male Pom and a male Jack Russel that weren't raised together, but get along great....they are inseparable. Pick out two puppies that seem to have the personalities you are looking for and don't worry about the gender. Since they are going to be living together, they should be fine.

Get the different canines. An older one, not a domestic dog, related to the comparable age simply by fact the male or a sprint youthful. you have carried out your little guy a super disservice by being with him 24/7. He has exchange into frightened and should not be. you will possibly desire to take him to obedience college, a collection type to assist him recover from his concern of different canines. a sparkling canines interior the abode will help. end! choosing him up every time he exhibits signs and indications of outrage, you're reinforcing an undesirable habit. the final rule interior the extra sensible education training is that the aggressor is bumped off not the self-imposed sufferer. by choosing him up for all time you're coaching him to be frightened.

Girl/Girl I have female dogs and there are no territory battles at all. I also agree that they are easier to train, they don't tend to wander too. Stay pretty close to home.

with dogs, either will work, dogs don't have as much territory problems, but just in case any pair you get, just get them fixed and they will be best friends!!
my suggestion - go for 2 girls, bcuz girls rule!! lol, and it looks better when girl dogs have clothes on, better than when boy dogs have clothes on.

it really doesnt matter what gender you get as long as they are raised together. thats not true that girls dont wander off. i have 2 females and they run off every chance they get. and its not cuz we treat them bad, we treat them the best. people think we spoil them.
