My 9 month old was born with a normal penis, but since he was 2-3 months old it has disappeared into the fat pad. He's a little chubby(23lbs), but I've never seen this happen to other chubby babies. The doctor says it will come out as he thins out, but I'm still worried, it looks like he has no penis. Anyone know about this condition, does it get better?

My son is 5 months old. His penis does this too. It started about a month ago. I had to take him to the dr monday and I asked the dr about it. He said it was normal. My son weighs 19 lbs, so he is chubby too. This did not happen to my other two sons and they were chubby babies too, so I was really concerned. But the dr said it would stop doing that as he grew and slimmed up. Hoped that helped.
