address? If so what did you do? I feel people are clicking the report abuse button for the silliest reasons. By the way, Yahoo suspends your account when this happpens and you can never get it back. FYI

If you feel this is wrong pleaase contact this address my-login-support@cc.yahoo-inc.com and tell Yahoo. It's like having your friends and family access taken away from you, just because someone got their feelings hurt for hearing your opinion.

No this has not happen to me but then I tend to avoid unpleasantness and get into such things. I have placed several complaints and received notes afterwards but these were usually due to profanity or extremely cruel and offensive comments I found posted. Yes, serious hate mongering, not just verbal crud.

I may be naive but I would like to think some action was taken on a few of these creeps.

What I notice is, I never offend and write well researched and put put responses. I work on them, and only rarely respond with a mere quip. I have noticed that quite often I have received thumbs down for absolutely no reason other than someone has taken offence to my scarf or perhaps the fact I have mentioned the word Muslim in a positive context. This has happened a few times even my response was the only literate one of 2 or 3.

I leave it slide. This place is like any other on the world. Full of good bad silly sober stoned religious military etc etc types with very little true policing.

I am sorry about your girl. I hope she can get back in.

I have received a few. I usually apologize that they were offended and then just ignore them. I have been turned in for abuse one time. A student with A's and B's asked what her GPA would be. I told her to ask her math teacher as they could help her learn to do it. She was the one making the grades. I guess I offended her or her mommy.

according to community guidelines.."Depending on the level of offense, you may risk deactivation of your Yahoo! ID and consequently everything associated with it". They don't automatically deactivate you. I asked a question related to women's health in the wrong category and wasn't deactivated. I received an email saying after so many offenses I would be cut off.

I asked a question about how to do something with my cell phone and had one jerk reply that I had to suck his male genitalia before he would tell me. You bet your bottom I reported him. I mean come on grow up people.

Contact yahoo? Are you kidding??I switched my yahoo e-mail address to another one because I was having a huge problem, and tried contacting yahoo a dozen times with no help.I'm surprised that they even pay attention to any abuse that is reported.

I know, sometimes i look at the questions people ask and than someone marks the question as abuse because they think it is offending someone. even if it isn't.
