We've been together for about 2 years living together for about 1 1/2. We both have great jobs and we know that we've found the "one". Is it to early or should we wait.

Well, you would have been dating for 9 years by then so I would say no, not too young, but people change so much in their early 20's. You both have a lot to go through before you get to 21. One day at a time honey.

NO, it is good that you are asking though.

I was married at 21 and I am now 33 still married (to the same person) very happy with four kids.

I don't think that it is the age that is important but the people that are getting married. There are a few 40 year olds that I would say should never get married!

If you really feel that you are on the same wave and know what your plans for the future are, then 21 is not too young. Don't get married because you're still giggly in love. If you feel that both of you are totally grounded and looking toward the future, then it's good.

I got married when I was 21, and I ended up divorcing him after 6.5 years because he turned out to be a lying cheating money-mooching jerk. So beware of any warning signs.

Good luck hon!

It is young, but if you know it's the right one, go for it, after all you have already been living together for 18 months. I got married when I was 20, and still in college, it's been over 20 years now, and I'm still crazy about the fellow,(he is still so cute!).

Not at all.. i was married at 21 and ok mine didn't work (but that had nothing to do with age) but i have friends who were also married young and they are still going strong. It depends on the persons. But i feel you have just as much chance of a successful marriage at any age. Its all about love...

No you are not too young. Age means very little, maturity is everything. If you are stable in your life outside of the relationship and are confident that you have found the person you wish to spend the rest of your life with then go ahead and make the commitment.

if you know you found the one then there is no reason why you shouldn't wait.

i only say this because i am 19 and 3 months ago was planning on getting married, convinced that i myself found THE ONE. good thing i didn't. he wasn't who i thought he was. you can get married whenever you want, just slow down. no one should go through what i went through. it's not fair.

no its not. I got married at 20 but I wish I would have waited because the wedding was not what I wanted it to be. I was pushed around by my husbands parents and i was pushed around by everyone else. Just do what you think is right
