I've looked all over the internet, still can't find one. I'd like to stay away from a plastic one if possible. To be used with a 2006 GL1800.

I've seen the carbon fiber one, but I want one with a lip, to keep the sidestand from sliding off.

I'm ghetto.. I use a crushed pop/soda can. :P

But you could always do the Carbon Fibre route (via Aerostich):

I've also seen people buy block-off plates for electrical boxes and use those. and I've used a plastic one (came with my membership to some clob or another) and never had issue with it.. looked like a yellow foot. :)

Lots of options though, just get creative and think about how you want to do it.

I use a piece of aluminum plate that I sheared off in the shop.
Any metal supplier near you can cut one for a couple dollars.
One shop I know uses old license plates. They bend a little.

J&P cycles offers a rubber one on page 342 of thier metric catalog they also offer a kick stand with a much bigger foot print on pg 373 or at jpcycles.com
