I'd have to go with the Jackson 5........because Michael Jackson was the lead singer & he's more iconic then the Beatles by himslef........ Go Jackson 5!

I like The Jackson 5, but I'd have to say the Beatles are more iconic. If you go by one person out of each group you have to agree that John Lennon was more iconic than the Jackson 5 by himself. I'd say John Lennon is more of an icon than Michael, Michael Jackson has a reputation for the wrong reasons these days! I don't agree with the person saying the beatles are better vocally, Jackson 5 and Michael Jackson had fantastic voices.

The Jackson 5!!! They danced and they sung better than the Beatles anyday. Plus, the Beatles couldn't grow and macked out Afro like the Jacksons did! And to think, they always had perfect round Afros regardless of how hard they danced around, and who's robot was better than Micheal? Could you see Paul or John trying to break into a move like that? LOL!

Love the Jackson 5 but they aren't anywhere as iconic or as influential as The Beatles. Michael Jackson while once very talented is nothing more than a bad joke nowadays.

the beatles are the most popular band in the history of pop music. there are only a few bands that would be arguably as iconic as the beatles, including the rolling stones. there's no comparison.
michael jackson was great, but not close to the beatles. look at who in music has been influenced by both. if you are using this to promote the jackson 5, choose someone else to compare them to. i'm not even a huge beatles fan. i like them a lot but they're in no way one of my favorite groups, but you have to be honest.
