This in my opinion was the best rivalry in wrestling. U had the best there is the best there was and the best there ever will be, the show stoppa, the main event and the rattle snake. I have a hard time choosing who is better, they are all so close in my book.

My opinion is the following:

Bret Hart was amazing he'll always be considered the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be. He just is

Mike Hickenbottom (Michaels) comes up behind him because of his many great accomplishments, and of course, the D Generation X

Steve Williams (Austin) was great. He'll always be one of the best in the business, but still behind the others

1. Stone Cold Steve Austin. Maybe I'm a little biased here but I mean look at his Track Record. Who else has won 3 Royal Rumbles? Did Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart hold the WWF Championship 6 times? Stone Cold also cut better promos than Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart and I think that's worth taking into consideration. Austin has had numerous memorable moments: "Austin 3:16 says I just whooped your ***," drenching the Corporation and the Rock in beer, causing JR to chant "Stone Cold! Stone Cold! Stone Cold!," him and Booker T in the grocery store brawl, and his feud with Vince (which was pretty much Vince's only successful feud.)

2. Bret Hart. Although most of his legacy is unfortunately associated with the "Montreal Screwjob." He was one of the best techincal wrestlers and has had numerous feuds of the years, match of the years, and has won the WWF Championship 5 times.

3. Shawn Michaels. I took some points off since he's a part of "the Clique." Other than that he is a very determined superstar and always puts his @$$ on the line in every match. Phenominal wrestler and will surely be added to the Hall of Fame when he retires.

Stone Cold is first because he was such a dominating force while he wrestled. I think that Stone Cold is second all time behind Hulk Hogan. Second is HBK because nobody expected him back after he dropped the WWF title at WM XIV to Stone Cold. HBK has been a better overall entertainer than the other two and he has heart that really makes the fans care. I'm sorry to say that I think Bret Hart ranks third, but he left under horrible circumstances. His WWE career was tarnished when Vince McMahon screwed him. For the best pure wrestler of the three, he is still seen as a bitter man to many.

Bret Hart simply because he was the greatest technical wrestler there ever was, so many technical wrestlers today owe Bret for many of thier techniques. This guy is an icon in wrestling, had a long list of accomplishments in his career and to top it all off ended his career in the WWF in whats considered the most controversial moment in the history of wrestling.

Stone Cold's impact on WWF was unparalled he took wrestling to a whole new level. Arguably Stone Cold helped popularize wrestling with his great performances. Definitley this guy has more unforgetteble moments than any of the other wrestlers today.

HBK hands down to the show stopper for being dedicated to his career in wrestling and still doing it. I am not a fan but i do respect the guy. The main reason i ranked him third is cuz this guy is too proud and doesnt care about his fans unlike the aforementioned athletes.

I think HBK will have the better legacy. Everybody has already forgotten about Bret Hart and what he has done in wrestling. Stone Cold has a good legacy, but I do not think it is as good as HBK's.

people are afraid that HBK may obviously destroy the streak. Or they likely afraid that in the adventure that they have got an more effective adventure then it may no longer be more effective, or maybe practically as good, because the only very last year and it is going to tarnish it. Plus it could be repetitive on best of that for the reason that that they had a in structure merely very last year. i'd not mind seeing Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker all over again, notwithstanding i will work out the position different people are coming from.

3.Hbk
T.1: its a tie because even though to me Bret hart had a better career..he didn't try to make a comeback anytime in his career. On the other hand Stone Cold came back and still had a impact on the WWE

The Hitman, there is a reason he is called the best there is!, he had all the tools and the intangibles needed to be a pro wrestler, shawn micheals is a close second, another gifted athlete with the proper tools, austin never struck me as a great technical wrestler, awesome mic skills though
