Any hours over 40 is considered overtime and if you have over time and didnot get paid for it please take your check stubs to your HR and ask if it was a mistake made why you didnot get paid for your overtime.

If you are classified as non-exempt then you would be entitled to overtime compensation. If you are classified as exempt by your company then no you would not. It is possible to be classified as salaried non-exempt, that would mean you get paid for overtime.
