Eh, where were you in the 80s (probably not born). George Michael has always been gay and has been out for as long as I can remember.

Its a well known fact that George Michael is Gay. Youre Late. Gerorge Michael came out a long time ago. George Michael has always been openly gay. He never hid the fact that hes gay. Hes always been upfront about it.
Michael was previously busted by police in Los Angeles in 1998 for a "lewd act" in a public restroom in a Beverly Hills park
The singer, who sold more than 80 million records worldwide during a 25-year career, said in November he was planning a civil partner ceremony with Kenneth Goss, his partner of 10 years.
The openly gay star was also recently caught having a sexual encounter with a jobless 58-year-old van driver he met while prowling the woods of Hampstead Heath near his home in the early hours

I don't think at that time that it would have been good PR to be outed, nor do I think that people thought about that as much. As far as Andrew goes, just because he's married doesn't mean anything. Lots of gay men use that as a cover or are in denial.

Do you know any straight men who are about George Michael’s age? See if you can find 10 straight men of that age and ask them all how many women they’ve slept with in their life. Then add that number together, then read up on how many women George Michael has slept with. You’ll find that George has slept with more women than all your male straight friends added together. Then ask yourself if you now think he’s gay? The answer you’ll get is “he’s bisexual”. I know he claims to be gay, but I’m gay and he sure doesn’t have the same sexuality as me.

Who is this we you speak of? I thought that guy was gay the first time I saw him. Truth be told you could have asked any metal head at your high school and he would have told you that. The eighty's were a weird time remember Boy George everyone knew he was gay but somehow it was big news when he outed himself. I guess that is all thanks to the gender bending pioneers like Bowie and The New York Dolls not to mention Twisted Sister I dont know of anyone who thought Dee Snyder was gay do you? Yet he dressed up in drag go figure.
