The Answer is no they are not. there is 1.6 billion muslims on earth, which means that if every muslim was a terrorist 1 in 3 people would be straped with a bomb. This is not the case though. Peacful familys in the US and Canada try to live there life normally but can not, due to the hell they are givvin by white sociaty. The governments has suceded in brain washing them due to there lack of wanting to learn. they governtment knows this very well and is feeding the public crap through propaganda. this is not a war on Terrorism, this is war on Islam, and that is a fact. and gess what islam means?it means peace. so how does peace prech terror? i dont know ither. this is quote " Think not that i am to come to send peace/ came not to send peace, but a sword." does that sound like violence? does that sound like terrorism? could the US government use this quote as proof that islam preaches error? well the answer is yes, belive it or not, this quote is from the Bible. well.....one of the largest crusades the United States conducted was against Saddham. I find it hilarious that Saddham wasn't even that spiritual. So that can somewhat rule out the ideal that the US is fighting against the Muslim people.
Another fact is that only 20% of Arabs are Mulims, and 80% of Mulims are Arabic. So that can be shoved in the local idiot's face when he says "those dumb Arabs blowin' up ****".
I myself think that many Americans are confused on what the Islam religion really is. The whole debate and fight over Shi'ite and Sunni (sp?) leadership, and then they don't believe that Jesus was the son of god. But we should all know that Christians, Jews, and Muslims ARE ALL PEOPLE OF THE BOOK!!! They all believe that god was the creator and father of all the leaders throughout the old testament.
Violence was the main factor in learning and punishment of the old testament. "an eye for an eye". god asking Abraham to sacrifice his son. is that not violent. Modern society can not handle the fact that people that live so different (as in dress and social structure) are so similar. it's just another diaspora of people. Every religion has seen this same situation.
I hope that made a dent. but you never really posed a question. you basically made a statement. and I'm glad that you are questioning this idea. more people need the STUDY other religions as so they do not become ignorant and intolerant.

Fighting the Islamists is NOT the same as fighting Islamists.
There are probably between 1 million and 18 million Islamists in the world and ONE BILLION muslims. Exagerations? Perhaps. Point blank, Mecca is not currently a target.
War on Terror? Honestly, its a noble thing but its not winnable. I mean, there are simply too many conflicts in the world. All you can do is minimize the risk of said conflicts injuring your own people.
