What is the age of majority in your country?

It is very strange that you are not allowed to drink alcohol until 21 in the US but legally an adult at 18. Yet a 12 year old can be charged (with a crime) as an adult.

18 with the exception of Drinking laws, which I don't get because you can go to war at 18 and die for your country but not drink????
