the cape of good hope is essentially the horn at the southern tip of south africa in the western cape, where the atlantic and indian oceans meet, the cape town / hout bay / cape point area and peninsula

South Africa isn't a continent! It's a country!


EDIT: warr31-every answer here says South Africa! No one has said the continent (except the guy below me...but he mentioned the country as well)! She was the one who said 'contident'...I've never seen that word before!

Actually she called it a Contident. Not a continent.
