I have almond shaped eyes that are very green..they also have a bit of copper and teal shades in them...I was just wondering what color eye shadow would make them pop..or maybe what eye liner or mascara you would reccomend...I always hear something different such as pink, gold, purple, brown,...some make-up artists say that green eye shadow will bring out the green and then I have had make up artists say to stay away from green...So if anyone knows I would appreciate it!!
Thanks :)

Green eyeshadow would be perfect! You should try it sometime! Don't let other people confuse you by how many opinions there are in the world. Everyone's opinions are different since they have different personalities and live different lifestyles. If you try it, you will see what color would go with your complexion. I have tried it and it looks GORGEOUS with my green eyes and complexion. I'm pretty sure that you'll find more than one that will suit you also. Don't just depend on one color. It would be boring to wear the same color eyeshadow everyday, don't you think? You need to come up with different combinations on different days or maybe outfits. What your doing, I think, is a good opportunity to actually see what type of makeup you should use, how, and when to use it! I think its a great experience for you because what you do now, will affect the way your going to treat yourself for the rest of your life! I hope this helps! :-)

Well i have very green eyes and i just use a brown shimmery eye shadow with a thin line of black eye liner on top and i also put some of the eye shadow under my eye. It definetly makes my eyes look big and all the colors in my eyes show.

Yes purple is supposed to look really good on green eyes. I have green eyes and light purple and gold eyeshadow are my favorite. I use charcoal grey eyeliner and black mascara and I get a lot of compliments on my eyes. I hope that helped.

Plums (shades of purple) will make green eyes "pop." Also, brown shimmery colors are nice. I wouldn't wear black mascara and instead go for dark brown and line the upper lid only close to the lashline. Go to the MAC cosmetic store for a sample eye makeover! You go girl...

Gold and pink are your best friends!! Its light, but thats whats great about green. The soft base will pop your eyes for that SUPER CUTE lovely sparkly eyes that they all fall for. There's a 'mascara' called Lash Splash by Smackers that would be nice. It's clear, but has that misty, toned touch!

Merle Norman has this gorgeous color combination called "shell". It is pink and a purple and it make my green eyes pop. Sometimes if I wear gold or a shimmering liqiud brown it works well also.

You can use a soft bronze eye shadow or maybe you can even use a dark brown or a black, charcoal grey for the mascara. If you can afford it I would use the Mac products from Belks.chow

I suggest purples for your eyes....
do a "smokey effect" with purples....

start with a dark green or normal green eyeliner...
than put a plum purple, than a bit of a medium purple....
finish it off with a lilac purple near, but not on your brows

maybelline (i think) sells trios according to your eye color, the color for green eyes is...
Taupe for all over color
Lite green for lid color and
a darker emerald green for your crease or outer corner
it looks really good!

purple also brings out green eyes use the same way as the greens above
