what would have I done differently
the only think would be that I would have started a discplined act of excersize and ate better. other than that i dont think i would change anything about , because then I wouldnt have what I have and wouldnt have learned what i went thru as well, i am glad for the things i went thru, we all make mistakes and learn from them, perhaps the only other thing would be i would have been more concerned of my education, its not bad but it could be better

Although my greatest regret (and source of pain/suffering) is that short disaster of a marriage to a violent/abusive ex (who is also mentally ill -- and whose family history of mental illness was definitely genetically passed onto my children), I am at the point in time now (as an Empty Nesting Single Retiree ...
That I would NOT change a thing about ME ... I just have the REGRET (of the horror of the marriage).

I don't think I would change myself. I like who I am, and if there's something I don't like about me, then I change it through my own hard work. That way I appreciate it and I feel like I've grown and learned and made myself better, rather than taking it for granted. It's the journey that matters, not the end result.

Absolutely not. Even if I change one thing then I may not have married the woman I did, or have the two great kids that I do, or have the wonderful experience of my seven wonderful grandchildren. All of my past makes me who I am today.
