London is much like New York City -- the prices, the energy, the diversity, the theater district... really very similar.

So how much more accepting would they be of you in NYC than in Waco?

Remember when you were a little boy and you would spread your arms as far apart as they would go and you would say "thisssssss much"?

Right. That much.

wow...you would think people would just worry about their damn selves!! Let people live their own life!! I'm not sure about the UK, but do your thing! who cares what people think...I am straight, but I get irritated when people start talkin smack about people just cuz they're gay..who cares? if they're happy, let 'em be happy!! Theres no need in going out of your way to make people unhappy.....I say live your life no matter what people think..show them you have the confidence to be who you are!! There's nothing wrong with being gay, and people that have a problem with it need to be hit right in the face with it! Show them you're not hurting anyone and that you are happy!! Good luck, and dont move just cuz they're mean, if you really want to move, do it because YOU want to.

Yeah, I wouldn't wander round many areas of the UK after dark loudly announcing "I am gay" if I were you.

Queer bashing is still considered a spectator sport by some of the more neandertal inhabitants.

I am a recovering Texan. I have never been to London, but I assure you that ANYWHERE you go, people will be much more accepting of you than they are in Waco. (Come to San Francisco -- you could wear your cowboy boots and have a great time!).

I feel bad for you, no matter where you live you will run into people who will treat you badly for one reason or another. I would think that the larger the city the larger the gay community.

Doesn't matter where you live you will always be found out if you are a practicing homosexual, There are a lot of areas in Britain that you should not venture to as it is not safe for homosexuals

Lots more tolerant. Look at Elton John and Ian McKellan. They are gay and THEY ARE KNIGHTS!
