OK, With my first baby I went into labor and was almost fully dilated and my water never broke, the Dr. had to break it. So, now that I'm close to my due date with my 2nd, I'm wondering is that more likely to happen again or could my water break by itself this time? Any women out there had this problem did your water break on it's own the 2nd time?

The doctor had to break my water the first 2 pregnancies. My water finally broke on its own with my 3rd baby.

My water didnt break till after I was in hard labor with my 1st. My water broke before I went into labor with my 2nd. Then my dr had to break my water bag even more to release more of the fluid out. It is different for everyone one. Good Luck with your labor

well with my first pregnancy my water broke on its own... and second the doc had to break it, so i guess each pregnancy is different and just b/c one thing happens with one pregnancy doesn't mean it will happen with each one.. goodluck
