Dunno. I'm the fool that people usually have to suffer but don't worry, I give everyone permission to tell me to shut up when they've had enough.

Suffer-fools-gladly, a malleable euphemism, carries a rich load of ambiguity. Everyone who uses it means something different, and readers take from it whatever they choose.

Yes, because working in a service industry - the fools are ultimately paying my wages, so I have to suffer them....

In general I suffer them with gritted teeth and knuckles clenched (at least when I'm listening to them on the phone or reading their emails!)
So, not "gladly" but yes, I do suffer them. :D

i used to suffer them when i was younger..... but as i've grown older i've learnt not to put up with bullsh*t from anyone !
