What in the hell was prince doing performing at the superbowl? You take the worlds manliest game and have the worlds most feminie man doing the halftime show that doesn't make sence to me.

And now.. the real answer... The reason you get turds like Janet Jackson and Prince and the Rolling Stones (ok, not turds.. petrified, but not turds) is because they chose the halftime performer for their INTERNATIONAL fame. Prince and Janet and the Stones are HUGE overseas and known throughout the world... Since almost NOBODY in the U.S. even watches the halftime show, they focus it on the International draw while keeping it somewhat paletable to U.S. viewers. They gotta make money from the overseas ad revenue!!!!

Thank You JDS. You hit it right on the head w/ that one. I never change the channel during the Super Bowl, but yesterday I had no choice. Prince can not be hetero-sexual. At the Super Bowl we have this fairy! The Beetle, the Stones, now the Artist. The Super Bowl comity is F*$kin up.

i totally agree. this guy made the game look really sissy and not only that. he isnt even popular anymore. and during a football game there should be no purple lights coming from the stadium. bad halftime, all around. hopefully next year is better.
