Dont overread too much into this statement.
We have relationships with people because they fulfill a need.
Sometimes we dont know what that need was....it just was.
Could be friendship, empathy, sex, laughter, etc etc, and so we have both male and female interractions because we have a need.
Those that last beyond the distanes of time fall within the quote ' we had something together'
It doesnt mean the other person has more than you or I, just that there was something different which stimulated something that was lacking......it need not be sex

They had a relationship, with feelings, emotions, time share together. In those who say 'we have something together" that means that they have some kind of feeling or feelings together or chemistry. But for those who say that why are they with that person. I always wonder.

We have something together means: that you shared emotions and/or feelings for each other. Past tense would be that you shared emotions and/or feelings for each other at one time.

To the person that says it..means that they feel or felt this way for the person in question

it was some sort of serious relationship. He had serious feelings for her, and if the 2 of u didnt get back together he would probably still be with her now.

well he was telling you its over with. now since you all are back together well that means he loves you. i mean youc an't tell or are you blind? i am just curious. something must have been sex only and that is nothing to build a relationship on.

It means I had fun with you but now I'm done. Bye. Or it means I liked you and I may like you again if you let me sleep with you.
