my last period was around Nov. 25th, and the day I would have concieved was Dec. 10th. I have had some spotting around the time of my period, but that' s it, normally I have periods that lat 3 days. I am on birth control but I dont always take it at the same time. I have had terrible constipation, terrible headaches, my breast hurt (mostly at night, which is wierd to me), I did have a spell of hot and cold flashes. I feel hungry all the time, but get full really easily now, I have to eat lots of small meals, which I normally dont do. My moods swings are crazy, their up and down. The thing is I've been having all these signs of pregnancy and Ive taken acouple of home pregnancy test, the last time I took one was acouple of days ago, and they all still come out negative. Is that wierd, do you think it could be possible that I am pregnant?

It is possible. You don't say how old you are. If you are on oral contraceptives, you should be having periods regularly.

When taking oral contraceptives, it is really important to try to take it at the same time daily. Taking it in the morning one day, and not till the evening on the next day can lessen its effectiveness.

Since your home tests are turning out negative, I would suggest that you make an appointment with a gynecologist. Not having a period for that long in an otherwise healthy female means you are either pregnant, or there's something else going on, like a hormonal imbalance.

Are you underweight? You mention feeling hungry all the time, but eating small meals. If you are suffering from anorexia, or seriously underweight, this will also cause your periods to stop.

In any event, you should see a gynecologist. He/she can probably figure out what's going on quickly.

Good luck!!

If your pregnancy tests show that you aren't pregnant, consider it could be IBS, (irritable bowel syndrome). Symptoms which include constipation, bloating, cramps, nausea, and one thing doctor's have told me is to eat four small meals a day, rather than 3 large ones. It is therefore less likely to get upset.

This is a tough one because these symptoms sound a bit sketch. I recommend seeing a doctor because you may be having really bad side effects from taking birth controls or possibly some form of early menopause.

yes there is always that 1% that you could be pregnant and all of those are signs that you could be pregnant. I'm a certified medical assist.I suggest that you go to the doctor and test your blood that is the most accurate way to find out if your truely pregnant and discontinue using birth control until you find out.
