The fact that this liaison is set to occur in Turkey isn't the central issue or problem. Turkey itself is quite safe in terms of low frequency of violent crime, especially in the urban areas (terrorism and banditry are more of a problem in the remote areas, but the cities are quite safe).

The real issue is someone traveling alone to another country to meet a stranger--that should set off alarm bells no matter what the other country is.

Turkey is like any other country when it comes to safety. Of course I can't guarantee that you won't be kidnapped all by yourself. It's like you asking whether it's safe for a woman in New York to be walking around at 1 in the morning. Of course that wouldn't be safe. You just have to make good decisions to avoid that kind of stuff. Don't walk around strange men, don't walk down dark alleys, etc. Hope that helped! :-)

I think it would be crazy to go to Turkey alone, let alone to meet a stranger. Have the man come here and meet him in public.

As long as she has a passport, she should be fine.
Security is tight on planes.
Hope u marry her after she travels that far.
