Ok, if you can afford it, put primer on your face before the foundation and after moisturiser, it really smooths out your skin's texture so you use less foundation. Then sparingly put on foundation and blend, blend, blend, checking the hairline and jaw to make sure it blends right in, and putting it on your eyelids and beneath the brows too.

Next for the eyeshadow sweep it on lightly just on the lid, not above it. I would advise using brown eyeliner too here on the top lash line, it looks very natural but helps define the eye, will make the colour "pop" more.

Ok mascara, curl lashes first and then use brown mascara on the top lashes only to look natural.

Blush, make sure you choose a colour right for your skin tone (eg if you have warm tone skin it should be a browny pink, cool skin tone then a reddy pink). Then smile and sweep lightly over the cheekbones, once only. Next, LOOK AWAY. I can't stress this enough! look out the window for five seconds before you decide if it needs another sweep, otherwise you will end up with too much, i dont know why that works but it does!!

Oh and groom your eyebrows too for a final polished natural look!

Don't over apply. I always pat my face down with a paper towel afterwards to take off any extra. I use pink eyeshadow.. I don't know how you can make it look overwhelming. People always tell me I lool like I'm not wearing any. I guess I just thoroughly sweep it on, I hate chunks or blotches. You should always dab a little white in the inner corner of your eyes and under the brow. If you have blonde hair then use brown mascara. I have the mousse blusher in light pink too. I find it kinda very hard to spread evenly. I think it looks like Im wearing too much.So I switched too Loreal Truematch blush (powder) in their lightest cool (c-1,c-2,c-3) and it looks awesome. It gives you a suttle glow. But if you wanna use the mousse then you're gonna have to spread a loooo. Use a light pink gloss too. Pinks cant really look too overwhelming. BT, when tried the mousse foundation I thouh I looked sooo fake. It's too thick looking eventhough it feels light.

You've got all the right tools---perfect! This is my "au natural" makup routine:

Bobbi Brown oil free foundation (I have lots of little acne scar marks so I use Laura Mercier flawless fix pencil first, and some concealer under my eyes.)

Laura Mercier transparent setting powder

Nars blush (I use a color called "orgasm" which is totally natural and so beautiful! Gives you a nice flushed look---hence the name!) LOL

I don't use pink eyshadow myself---but that is also great for creating a natural look. I use Stila foundation stick in the color J on the crease of my eyes and blend. I saw it in InStyle mag. as a runway tip to create the "nude eye" look. I love it---and it's fast and easy. Stays put better than powder shadow too.

Clear mascara and then curl my lashes with an eyelash curler. My lashes are poker straight so I blow my hairdryer on the curler to heat it up and then use it---but be careful! This works great and they stayed curled all day this way.

Lastly---Burt's Beeswax balm for the lips---love the waxy matte look. And I'm done! Seems like a lot of work to look "natural" but really looks like I'm not wearing any makup.... I just look brighter, and my skin looks flawless--and that is the goal!

To make your makeup look more natural, you can start by applying a sheer foundation over your entire face (foundation evens out your skin.)
Apply the pink eyeshadow (so it looks soft), then in your tear duct but a blob of white eyeshadow and also line the bottom of your brow in a white, thin line
Now, you can apply your mascara begining by curling your lashes, and taking the wand of the brush wiggling it from the root of the lash up.
& last, but not least, apply some blush when smiling so you can see where your cheek bones are blushing it upwards, towards your temples

It should look natural so use thin eye liner and draw the line on the verry tip of your eye. And use colourless lipgloss like chapstick or something. Chapstick makes it not dry like lip glosses do.

SOO YAA hope it helps

Use colors that match your exact skin tone. Use moisturizer before applying make up. When it comes to eye shadows stick with earthtones and light colors on lips.

Basically, light colors!!
