Hi, i was wondering if teaching in Dubai required the same qualifications as it would if i was to teach in the UK. Would i have to do a further course overseas in order to teach there? Hope everyone understands the question. Thanks.xx

As far as I know you will need a degree although a PGCE would not be needed unless you intend to teach in an International school teaching a subject such as Maths. But if you are going to teach English then you will probably need a ESL certificate. If you already have your PGCE you probably wouldn't need any more qualifications. You can find various courses on the web just google ESL
Some countries need more than others but you can find out exactly what they need by looking at the many web sites for teaching overseas.
I teach in China with an Education based degree and have no problems getting jobs as there are not enough native English speaking teachers for all the jobs available
