There is no cure for the common cold. However there are ways to relieve the symptoms. Drink water, take Sudafed P.E. and for a sore throat use Ricola. Oh, and lots of rest. This is a good time to catch up on your favorite TV shows.

There is a natural product that is made by Source Naturals, it is called Wellness formula. I have used this for the flu and colds and anyform of sickness. It really works. I have recommended it to several other people and they have had success with this product also. This may be a good product for you to try. Buy the Tablets and not the capsules. Mainly because you have to take twice as many of the capsules and as it is you have to take 3 tablets every 3 hours. I've found the best price to be at www.vitacost.com otherwise you can find them at your local health food store.Beware not to stop taking them too early. I take them a couple of days longer even when I feel good just to make sure that it doesnt relapse. I buy the 180 capsule size, as if you buy the smallest size you just end up going back to the store again for more. As for the ear, there are good products at the health food store to drop in your ear. Good Luck!.

I don't know of any surefire way to cure the cold. But you can relieve the stuff nose with menthol. I like to burn mentholated candles around the house, and put menthol essential oil into a warm bath.

Keep air in your home humidified slightly more than usual, espescially at night while you sleep. This will help thin out the mucus so that it gets out of your nose.

Spicy foods will help clear your sinuses, with the downside of giving you a temporarily very runny nose.

Plenty of water will help keep the mucus secretions thin, so that they don't plug the sinuses as badly.

I am a beleiver in Euclyptus oil. i just sprinkle a drop or 3 ont he pillow I sleep on. I used to do it with my babies as i didnt want to give them too many medications. this is the most effective and long lasting cure. It cures not supresses.
